Submission
Guidelines
The text of the entire abstract including the title must not exceed 350 words (excluding author names, affiliations, figure/table descriptions and references). The abstract title should be concise and submitted in line with scientific rules. Please do not use any brand names in the title. A maximum of two (2) Pictures/Graphs/Tables may be included in the abstract, which should be placed after the text. Genus and species names should be written in full as mentioned first and abbreviated subsequently. Italicise when appropriate. Abbreviations may be used in the abstract, but definitions should always be given.
Please ensure that all author names are correct upon submission. Affiliations for all authors should be included. Please indicate the submitter of the abstract.
Accepted abstracts presented as a poster at the conference should be adjusted to fit the size of the presentation board, which is 976 (width) x 1330 (height) mm. The size A0 is 841 x 1188 mm and will fit nicely.
Abstracts and posters should be in English as this is the official conference language.
One of the sessions at NSCMID is Invited Young Scientists and the organisers wish to select the presentations from the abstracts. Please indicate if you are eligible or not when submitting your abstract.
Friday 30 August there will be a poster session in the middle of the day, after the lunchbreak. We would like all presenters to be available for questions from the attendees in this session.
A limited number of Travel grants will be available for young scientists (in training to become a specialist) submitting an abstract. Please indicate if you apply for a travel grant by ticking the box when submitting your abstract.
The abstract deadline is 14th of July.
If you are having problems with the form, please submit to tlee@ahus.no
